Your Motionbox Account and Transferring Your Videos:

What is Motionbox?

Motionbox is an online video upload and sharing service which has partnered with Bebo to provide video playback and storage. When you upload video to Bebo, your videos will also be stored in a new Motionbox account. Motionbox gives you a great online resource to upload, share, and edit your videos.

Do I need to do anything with my current videos on Bebo?

Yes, since video on Bebo is now powered by Motionbox, you will need to transfer your current videos to Motionbox. Once your videos are transferred to Motionbox, you will still be able to play and share them on your Bebo account. Even better, your transferred videos will be available on both Motionbox and Bebo!

What happens when I become a Motionbox member?

When you transfer your videos to Motionbox and sign up, you will enjoy all the benefits of a Basic Membership. Upload new videos, share or embed them and play back in high-quality Standard Definition. Learn more about Motionbox and our Basic Membership.

Are my videos uploaded to Bebo automatically uploaded to Motionbox as well?

Yes. Any video you upload to Bebo will automatically appear in your Motionbox account, and vice-versa.

Is Motionbox going to cost me anything?

You can choose to keep your Motionbox account at Basic at no cost. You can also choose to upgrade to a Premium Membership anytime. For more information on Premium, which includes HD quality playback, HD embeds, and other enhanced features, click here.

Does Motionbox offer the same video services that Bebo does?

Motionbox is all about video and provides the highest quality playback on the web, simple and secure video sharing, and an easy-to-use online editing tool. Motionbox also provides top-notch customer support through email and live chat.

Do I have an upload limit?

Video uploads are limited to 100mb (about 5-10 minutes) per video on your Basic account. For an account with higher limits and more features, read more about Premium Membership below.

Video Playback and Quality:

How can I watch and share videos in higher quality on Motionbox?

Your videos were originally encoded for web-standard quality and were transferred from Bebo in the same way. If you have your original source video, and want to take advantage of the high quality encoding Motionbox offers, upload future videos directly to Motionbox. You’ll be able to watch them in better Standard-Definition quality with a Basic subscription, or High-Def quality with a Premium Membership.

What do I do if I have trouble uploading my video on Bebo?

Some tips for uploading your video to your Bebo profile:

1. On your Basic account with Motionbox, please do keep in mind each file needs to be 100MB or smaller in order to upload successfully.
2. Do ensure that you are letting the upload and processing complete altogether - currently there isn't a status bar but it may be that your video is indeed uploading. You may see a status at the bottom of your browser page that indicates something is working as the video is uploading. Be sure not to close the window until this progess has completed.
3. Once your video has completed its upload, if you still don't see it appear, try to close your browser and start it again.
