Privacy and Permissions 101

Your videos can be set with three different privacy and permissions levels:

"Open Access"

• Anyone who visits Motionbox can view all your Open Access videos. No sign-in required.
• Open Access videos will appear in Motionbox search results.
• Use this setting for videos you want to make available to your friends, their friends, their friends' friends...you get the idea.

"Private"

• Mark videos as Private if you want to keep them completely hidden except when you're signed in
• You can share an individual Private video, but your recipients won't be able to view or browse any of your other Private videos.
• Your Private email links can be forwarded, so only share them with people you trust!

NEW! You can now mark your videos "Protected" (Contacts Only)

• Only people on your Contact List are allowed to view and browse Protected videos. Protected videos will never show up in search results.
• Contacts don't have to register to see your Protected videos if you send them an invitation.
• Your Contacts can browse all of your Protected videos

BOTTOM LINE:
If you want to secure your videos, but make them accessible to people you know and trust, use the new PROTECTED setting!
