Troubleshooting common processing problems

There may be a variety of reasons your video may not process and usually they are easily solvable!

Here are some easy troubleshooting steps:

1. Check to ensure your video is in a format that is compatible with Motionbox.

2. Only video formats are accepted. Uploading music files such as .wma, .mp3 or other files such as .doc or .xls won’t be successful.

3. Have you uploaded a video from Windows Movie Maker that has failed? If so, you’ll want to read Failed Windows Movie Maker Videos for more help on how to make this work.

4. It is always recommended to upload your source directly to Motionbox from your computer and to bypass any video editing software. This will result fewer failures and the best quality playback!

Also, do note that due to internet connection speeds, the size of your file, or amount of traffic in the queue ahead of your video, it may look like your video is not moving in the processing step, but in fact, it is just taking longer than anticipated to process.

Finally, if your video does fail the optimization process, all is not lost! There is both free and paid software on the Internet to convert or transcode your video into a format that plays on Motionbox.
