HD Playback Issues
Unfortunately we can't make your videos look better than the originals that came off your camera or recording device. So if you shoot 30 seconds of video on your cell phone, it won't be HD quality after you upload to Motionbox. That said, if you upload some HD footage from the latest HD camcorder, the quality of the playback will knock your socks off!
The higher the video's quality, the faster your connection needs to be and also, the more powerful your system processor (computer) should be for best playback results. A video which contains a lot of movement may play back with jerks or stutters on the more active spots or buffer more, especially with a slower connection and/or computer.
HD or high quality playback can be resource intensive and for best quality viewing, you’ll want a fast system processor (computer) with a quality updated video card too.
We do offer a lower-bandwidth version of your video. If you're experiencing playback problems with the HD format, you should try the SD version instead. The quality is still very good. You can switch between the two versions via the text link below the player.
Note: We've heard from some users that they've had a problem with their player displaying black or not loading. If you're experiencing these issues, make sure you have the latest version of Flash. After installing Flash you'll need to restart your browser. If you're still having problems, try restarting your computer as well.
