Uploading Videos Using the Web Uploader
First, before any upload, ensure your videos comply with Motionbox's House Rules.
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to upload using our easy web uploader:
- 1. Sign into your account.
- 2. Click on the "upload videos" link at the top of any page.
- 3. Click "Add Files" to search on your computer for the videos you want to upload. It's similar to how you attach a file to an email.
- 4. Create a new folder or select an existing folder for your video.
- 5. Add tags if you wish.
- 6. Choose your privacy settings.
- 7. If you have groups or playlists, you can add your video to either.
- 8. Click "Upload Now"
(Note: Basic members can upload videos of up to 300mb each. Premium members have no limits on video file size or storage space, but we recommend using the Motionbox Express Uploader if the video you are uploading is large or you have any issues with the web uploader.)
The Upload Video Manager will let you know when your upload has completed. You will also receive an email telling you when your video is ready to view. If you don't want to receive this email, simply uncheck the box at the bottom of the uploading tool that says "Notify me when my videos are ready to view and share!"
