Not really sure how you can use the Motionbox mixer?
Check out this great mix that user BrewKahuna put together. Use the mixer to join a few interesting clips together, and you have a pretty fun (and cute) video to share with friends! The mixer is a free feature we offer so both Basic and Premium members can try this!
Check out Motionbox user aarondallen's friend, Lily. I bet you haven't had a pet like this, have you?
"This is Lilly. She waits for me every day outside of where I eat breakfast here at a resort in Phuket, Thailand. Yesterday she put her trunk around my arm to hold hands. I walked with her down to the beach."
Motionbox user studio808 was kind enough to reply to this post by sharing one of his favorite videos with us: Bridge of History.

One of my favorite things to do on our new blog here is to watch video! Go figure, right? But more specifically, I like to watch YOUR video. I love to see what our members are doing and taping, whether it's your adorable kid, your crazy cat, or just some beautiful footage. So I hereby call on you (yes YOU) to send me your favorite video of the moment. I don't care what it is, I want to see it! I also want to feature it right here on our blog, so make sure it's something you don't mind sharing.
If you're game, here's what you do: Email support@motionbox.com with a link to your favorite video, and a description I can post along with it. It can be a straight-forward description, or a story about how it came to be, whatever you want! I just want to hear from you!
And to get things rolling, here's a video of my own. It's from my honeymoon in the French Polynesian island of Moorea. It's quite literally just me filming from the passenger seat while we drive around. I picked it because I don't say anything in it (which is good for you guys, trust me), and it's kind of mesmerizing. Also, please note that I used a point and shoot photo camera for this, so the footage is NOT HD. But enjoy!
Motionbox user ceonyc had a fun idea: he asked a bunch of people to share their 7-second predictions of 2009, all on video. Once he received them, he uploaded all 23 prediction videos onto Motionbox and used our Mixer to trim each video and combine them all into one neat video.
"Motionbox [was] the *only* video site I could find that would not only take all of the various video formats that were posted, but also allow easy trimming and splicing..."
-User ceonyc, on his blog
We're thrilled the video turned out as great as it did. Most of the work our team does to support so many different formats and codecs on Motionbox is usually invisible to users, because if you're like most people, you have one video camera and generally upload the same video format to Motionbox. This project really shows the variety of formats and codecs we support on Motionbox - all 23 videos made from various cameras uploaded and processed without a problem. We thought the end result turned out fantastic, thanks to ceonyc's creativity!
Make sure to check out his blog and watch the video below!
Hi there! I'm Kristy, and I'm the one who writes all the words you see. On the site, in your inbox, I'm kind of everywhere. I also help out with Customer Support, so you might see my name on some emails from time to time.
My job is to communicate with you guys, which I really love doing. And so today I thought I would talk about how I use Motionbox.
I used to find it really hard to take video, because I never knew what to shoot, and I ended up with all this boring footage, always missing the moments that were really priceless. So first I started narrating my videos. But then I realized that the sound of my voice is incredibly annoying. So I started asking questions of the people I was filming, so that they could do the talking. It's worked really well, and the video I capture is usually much more interesting.
I have two nephews, so there is always LOTS of video of them running around, pretending to be pirates, or dancing to the music. The other major thing I recently filmed was my wedding. Well, I didn't film it, because that would have been awkward. But I got married this fall and one of my Motionbox colleagues was nice enough to film the ceremony and some of the reception for me. So here is my absolute favorite moments of the whole, hour-plus long video. This is my flower girl, Delaney, attempting to make it down the aisle. It cracks me up every time. Enjoy!
"I'm really new to this VIDEO Blogging thing, but I just got this HD camcorder and I decided to sign up to become motionbox premium member. I just wanted to let you guys know that its going great so far..."
