The International Debate Education Association ("IDEA":http://www.idebate.org), with the generous support of the "United Nations Foundation":http://unfoundation.org and the "Open Society Institute":http://www.soros.org, was pleased to hold a Public Service Announcement Contest as part of "The People Speak":http://www.idebate.org/thepeoplespeak 2006. %{color:white}boo% The 2006 The People Speak campaign raised the level of dialogue about the United States' role in the world. The People Speak Public Service Announcement contest asked independent filmmakers from all walks of life to create 30-60 second videos addressing the world's most pressing concerns. %{color:white}boo% The videos submitted address a wide range of issues and do not necessarily represent the views of IDEA, the United Nations Foundation or the Open Society Institute.
