Groups

Groups let you pool your videos with other Motionbox members who share your interests.

Anyone can visit a Group page, but only Group members can add their videos. In some cases, you may need to join a Group to be eligible for a contest or promotion offered by Motionbox or one of our Partners.

Simply go to the Groups homepage and open a Group that strikes your fancy. On the right side of the page, you’ll see a link that says: join this group. Click on that link, and you’re in!

The Featured Group is a Group that the Motionbox staff has decided to showcase for a while. Sometimes—but not always—the Featured Group will be sponsored by one of our Partners.

Adding videos to a Group is easy. Just go to your My Videos page. Click on the button above the video you’d like to add. A little menu will appear, displaying all of your Groups. Simply select the Group(s) in which you want your video to appear by clicking on the checkboxes.

Removing videos from a Group is easy. Just go to your My Videos page. Click on the button above the video you’d like to add. A little menu will appear, displaying all of your Groups. The Groups in which your videos appear will have a check next to their names. Just click on the checkbox to remove the check (and the video) from the Group.

Yes. Keep in mind that when you add a private video to any Group, you are essentially sharing it with each member of that Group. Visitors to the Group will not be able to view your private videos, but anyone who joins the Group will be able to view them.
