Oshawa city council still refuses to communicate information about their change to the general vote to the Oshawa public. This shows profound disrepect for the Oshawa voter. Politicians who don't respect the public shouldn't expect our vote!

Oshawa Council's moves toward the general vote removes local representation from the voters and distances city government from the people. This is entirely consistent with disbanding the local civic in favour of amalgamation with Durham Region.
