This is Ramon's final audition. It is the very first time Ramon Rodriguez and Suzette Gunn (the leads of The Wannabe) meet. This is their first reading of the handball court scene from the film.

"The Wannabe" was shot in May 2005 and had its World Premiere at the NY International Latino Film Festival where it won Best Short (July 2006). It was amazing working with Ramon. He is currently this season of HBO's "The Wire" and ABC "Day Break."

This is my first video project. It features artist Wangechi Mutu. It was inspired by many different things including my love of Joseph Cornell and Poly Styrene from the band X- Ray Spex. I made it in 2001.
