The only stop in the USA for the 2008 Olympic torch was in San Francisco. I went down to capture this event and see the torch. Thanks to a bunch of idiots running the city and their overly cautious reactionary behavior the event didn't happen. Yes, it sorta did, but no - not even close. A lot of time and money was wasted on this event that shouldn't have been. Complete waste of time and very disappointing for thousands of people that had waited since early morning to see this historic event. I did quick edits of what the scene was like at various places along the original route which was abandoned as were all of the closing and opening ceremonies. Way to go team... (sarcasm)
